Dragons of Castle Rock
« Reply #130 on: April 13, 2017, 15:08:30 »
I recently got the castle from 3269, sometimes called Castle Rock. It was from Ebay & incomplete with no klickies or accessories, & missing just a few castle pieces, such as windows & ladders, etc. I hope to replace all castle parts that are missing but am not worried about the rest. It was a good price & I am glad to include it with my castles. I took it out for photographs, but the sun was VERY bright & harsh that day; most shots were ruined by sunspots but I saved what I could. These aren't the greatest pictures but I had fun & that's what matters.

I've bought 2 more of these dragons (...)

I hope to get several more of them, actually.

Why not invest in different ones? There are SO many...

I quit going for two of each "type" when it means twins. Far too many.

I've been buying lots of dragons in the past few months; in fact, I know I've gone overboard but dragons seem to be my kick right now. I've recently acquired:

Battle Dragon 5482
Giant Dragon 4838
Shield Dragon 5484
Advent Calendar 5493
New Red Dragon 6498
New Green Dragon 6003 X2
Dragon Rock 5840 X4
Dragon Castle Tower 4836
12-inch Green Dragon 5921 X2
12-inch Red Dragon 5912
Green Dragon 7876 X2
Red Dragon 3327
Black Dragon 7944
Ice Sculpture Dragon 5374

My Recent Dragons

Are there any others you would recommend?

That's a whole lot of dragons

Are there any others you would recommend?

The asian one (5483), and the new fairy one (soooo cute).. and of course the new super 4 green dread.

All the little ones (like 4793) - cause they are ADORABLE.

I am also looking forward to the "how to train your dragon" ones...

I have the Asian 5483, & the knight & dragon of 4793, & several of the little ones that size. Also, the 4 Dragon Warrior foil bags. Looking forward to the Super 4 red. After buying 4 of the Rock Dragons with the wonky wings, I finally got one with wings that are very nearly perfect.

That's a great idea to use the lichen (or moss is it? I dunno) like that for grass.

Beautiful pictures
The forest behind the village, and the lake as a backdrop for the castle. Gorgeous! I agree about the moss, it works so well.

I think I would give the houses a back wall, so that you can't look through them.

Wonderful village. I also like the images with the three dragons in them, for a simple plastic toy they look surprising fierce.
