Title: around 1900
Post by: specialist on November 04, 2010, 17:53:34
Starting threads in forum no. 4. I tried to keep it simple and "work" in only 3 forums but as I came here as a member of the Pilot Group I think I should share some of my customs here. I will use this forum to show all the civilian topics I find unsuitable for the gardenwargaming-forum. So to see everything you have to look on both sites.

Ralf, number 28 (the middle couple) might be one of the best customs that you have ever done!
(However, white beards seem to always add a nice touch!) ...  ;D

I think its a fur vest from 30 00 1962 - Thief, fur vest, eyepatch (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-1962) and the black hat is from p3770b - Hat, wide brim, two feather-holes (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=p3770b)

lots of good figure . My favorite is the photo 28 . Your customs made me think i'm sometime to much slave of the colors laws ... You give a good personnality to your figure .

cheng , as a playmobil customer : you buy a Gum(Eraser) you use the blue side and buy the zulu , i think that's the cheap way to be quiet with your obsession ! (it's long but better than user a cutter and the result is clean )

Ralf, I am a 'silent' fan of your customizing work since many years, and I simply LOVE your creativity, fantasy and good taste mixing parts and colors, I find you have a very particular style in doing this, different from other skilled people, too. I specially appreciate the fact you use exclusively original Playmobil parts and...well, I don't know what else to say. I just adore your figures!

One of the late pics here including a violinist, reminds me very much a figure that I included in one of my victorian-dickensian pictures, which I posted time ago in a french forum. Maybe I will post it again soon in my blog so you will see the similarity :)

What I really love of my favourite customs here is the true, well-reached victorian atmosphere you give to them. This is the most difficult goal to get in my opinion, and you do it magically in a very natural way.  :)9 My sincere congratulations, I always enjoy your news, here or wherever you post!  ;)

 :thanks: Ralf!
