9233 Glass Bottom Tour Boat
« on: May 22, 2018, 20:57:43 »
I'm just going to say how pleasantly surprised I was in this set.  It's a good sized boat, quick to put together.  The klickies are nice.  The "glass bottom" section has a magnifying lens in it.

The Box:

This one is a full box!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

The Klickies... I'm in love with the Hawaiian shirt!

The Captain's legs are weird...

The best pool toy they have released in years I think. Makes me want a pool just so I can have place to, ahem, mess about with mine.

I actually just said that myself. I’m sure I’d play more with Playmobil boats than swim.

That Hawaii-shirt is very nice indeed, and printed all the way around. Reminds me once more how stupid it is to see so many printed belts that stop at the sides of the torso.

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Wow - looks a lot better than I thought too!

I love the kid's legs with sandals.. and the girls pants with the string are very nice too. So are the lifevests - I am more used to the old ones, these are MUCH nicer :)

Thank you for the review (my wallet is cursing you again, but never mind... )

A great review, leefert, thanks for sharing. I bet this boat doesn't fit the new seal pool does it? Only joking. But it would work in an aquarium tank too.
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

It's big, it would take up most of the top of a typical home aquarium.

I believe that it would completely both length and width. It would actually have trouble turning in a bathtub
