View inside an old Playmo-train catalogue
« on: December 28, 2005, 17:27:13 »
Hi,

I've made pictures of an english Playmobil train catalogue from 1985 (it reminds me of old Fleishmann train catalogues; especially the pictures of the individual train sets).
This is part 1:
phantasy is in the mind, realisation is in my hands!

Thanks, Jean Luc ...

I know that everyone loves looking at the "old" Playmobil catalogues!

However, I would like to see these pages in the "Trains" section!

All the best,
Richard

Thanks for the great photos Jean-Luc! The trains catalogue is the one I'm still hunting for as it's probably the one of the best ever made.  Thanks for Sharing the scans.

Richard has placed a link in Trains to this topic which is a good idea. But I like keeping the scans here so we can entice more Playmobilers with Playmo Trains! (hehehe)  8-)

Yup...I know. That's how I was nabbed. One nice diorama from a train catalogue and the next thing I know I'm learning about different types of tracks, layouts, ....(and my wallet is much mucy lighter. )  :-[  8-)

Thanks for the scans - they are terrific!

And as for enticing more people into Playmobil Trains - Noooooo! (More competition for me! ;))

I was looking into one of the new catalogues and noticed the current train sets have plastic tracks.... ::) If I was going for the trains, I would prefer the good old brass ones with a good old transformer instead of those wireless remotes (as it should be :yup: ).
