Starting threads in forum no. 4. I tried to keep it simple and "work" in only 3 forums but as I came here as a member of the Pilot Group I think I should share some of my customs here. I will use this forum to show all the civilian topics I find unsuitable for the gardenwargaming-forum. So to see everything you have to look on both sites.
-
:wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:
I can't wait to see your Civilian customs,

...but I dont know what's wrong with me lately(?)...I seem to be only noticing the ladies legs  ...especially the polka-dot skirt and the blood-red skirts...is there a Playmofriend who's a Doctor or Psychologist or Psychiatrist who can help me? (he has to own some spare female legs  )
sorry to detract...you made my day, Ralf! :D
-
lots of good figure . My favorite is the photo 28 . Your customs made me think i'm sometime to much slave of the colors laws ... You give a good personnality to your figure .
cheng , as a playmobil customer : you buy a Gum(Eraser) you use the blue side and buy the zulu , i think that's the cheap way to be quiet with your obsession ! (it's long but better than user a cutter and the result is clean )
-

I love the chest in the first man (where from?)
and the last lady has shiny sparkles in the dress? (What set?)
-
the first gentleman is my favourite excellent customs
-
Yes nice ones, again! 8-)
The Gentleman in the 1st pic is my favourite too, and like Gaston I also wonder where his torso came from... From a clown perhaps, because of the flower?? It looks like being a very recent torso...
-
The man in question is from one of the wedding sets. The sparkling lady....is probably from an old western set, but I'm not quite sure.
-
The sparkling lady is the famous Molly Brown! (no idea who first called her that.) http://playmodb.org/setpics/3787.jpg I'd love to get that salloon set.
Great customs, they all look really sharp!

That lady is magnificent!!!
-
absolutely brilliant, once again!
and Ralf, which black torso with the narrow red belt/sash did you apply your 'magic rubber' on? :D
-
@cheng: no rubber involved. One of the new redcoat officers had to take of his coat and that is what he looks liken underneath.
-
oh ok Ralf, thanks again! ;)
-
Great, again! :)
-
Nice ;D
-
Really beautiful! I particularly like the first and second ladies.

Amazing customs, well done.
-
Ralf, I am a 'silent' fan of your customizing work since many years, and I simply LOVE your creativity, fantasy and good taste mixing parts and colors, I find you have a very particular style in doing this, different from other skilled people, too. I specially appreciate the fact you use exclusively original Playmobil parts and...well, I don't know what else to say. I just adore your figures!
One of the late pics here including a violinist, reminds me very much a figure that I included in one of my victorian-dickensian pictures, which I posted time ago in a french forum. Maybe I will post it again soon in my blog so you will see the similarity :)
What I really love of my favourite customs here is the true, well-reached victorian atmosphere you give to them. This is the most difficult goal to get in my opinion, and you do it magically in a very natural way. :)9 My sincere congratulations, I always enjoy your news, here or wherever you post! ;)
:thanks: Ralf!

Karim

...............
-
Those two last pics are especially great!
-
Yep, I'd love to get some more ordinary folk for my Victorians too. Those men in the last pictures look perfect!
But obviously the dressed-up couples look equally amazing. It's so much fun to imagine them in the right setting, maybe going to a party or something :)
-
It's been long time since I don't visit the forum and I missed many things!
Your collection "around 1900" is really well done. I really liked them, much more creative than the original sets ;)

I really like the guy in overalls... what a great idea!
(and the brownish guy before him too :) )
-
Amazing sets, again
The second to last picture has the circus director's torso with a vest that matches it perfectly. I love it!

I agree, it's incredible to see how many varieties you come up with. :)9
-
Rather colourful this guy but somehow the pieces had to come together:
-
He is a cue little guy.
-
I am in love with this wonderful gallery of characters
Karim
-
Works perfectly :)
Have you displayed all of your Victorians somewhere in the house? They'd look awesome all together.
-
The following figures are those really on display. Most of the others are boxed or torn apart to be rebuilt and rebuilt and rebuilt.
-
Watch out for the guy who tries to in every photograph.
-
You are an amazing pure playmo customizer. These custom Victorian era klickies are just simply beautiful. No fake parts, looks like no paint, no knife, just pure playmo, through and through.
Only problem, I want to make them all
Thanks so much for showing you great customs.
-
Many beautifull clickies here, such fine gentlemen. :gent:
-
Only problem, I want to make them all
Yes, that is a problem :)
They look great - I LOVE the one with the brown fur hat
-
I want them all too. Seriously!
And the lady in the red dress (torso from a horseback rider woman, I think?) and the fur stola is beyond gorgeous!!
-
More fantastic creations! I love them all! And could imagine them all in the city streets! AMAZING
-
...............
-
Very nice, as always :)
I think my favorites are the 3rd ones.
-
I really like the guy in the striped pants. Do you remember which clicky the pants came from?

Female Figures cook is right.

I'm especially amazed by the adult with football legs....magnifque!! Encore! Encore!!
Yeah, that guy in shorts is great! However did you remember to do that!? :o
-
Ralf,
All of your Kaiser's army figures are really, really good!
The last two groups would make wonderful railroad workers.
And, as Cheng and Tahra have already said, your figure with the shorts is great!
Thanks for sharing and all the best my friend!
-
Great work, Specialist! 8-)
-
Absolutely breathtaking.
Two things: the lady in the purple dress and the raspberry beret looks a decade or two later than 1900. And what set is your third Prussian's pickelhaube from? I don't recognize that eagle.
-
The Lady is more 1920s I think.
-
Lovely, once again. HOw many custom Victorian klickies by now have you created ? Would be awesome to take a photo of all of them !!!
-
...................
-
Very nice - where is the torso from?
-
Very happy to see that you are still making your wonderful Playmobil conversions!
It’s always very exciting to see where your imagination and your creativity takes you!
-
@tahra: toros comes from a Roncalli-Clown.
-
@tahra: toros comes from a Roncalli-Clown.
Thank you - I thought it could be from a clown, but didn't know... :)
Looks great!
-
............
-
..........
-
Once again , your customs look amazing ! Would be even more amazing if you took a pic of all these klickies together !!!
-
@Giorginetto: some of them would be naked in that pic as they gave their clothes to more recent creations ;).
-
Very nice :)
Must copy the idea with the rice planter's torso ;)
-
Beautiful
If these were produced and sold in mystery packs, I would need to start collecting all of them. Every single one!
Imagine a Victorian or western town filled with all these customs...

Ralf,
Thank you for Oktoberfest!
As you probably already guessed, my favorite is the Bavarian oompah band!
You said that a German TV series inspired this collection.
What was the name of the TV series?
Thanks again and all the best.
Please stay healthy and safe,
Richard
-
Superb!
-
My favorite is the gentleman in pic 4.. I think :)
You said that a German TV series inspired this collection.
What was the name of the TV series?
I am curious too...
-
Love the Oktoberfest figures. They could really work for any time except maybe the band.
-
The name of the TV series was not exactly spectacular: "Oktoberfest 1900"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi7uZjSaLVI
-
Ralf,
Thank you for your reply.
I’ll give the “Oktoberfest 1900” TV series a look.
BTW, in addition to the “Oompa Band,” I really liked your number 15 figures.
Thanks again,
Richard

Surprisingly, my favorites are the lady with the purplish russian hat (I have a serious... THING for those hats :-[ ) and the guy in the blue overalls in nostalgie-21..
And obviously the first 3 in anno-dazumal-0521 - but no surprise there :)
-
Those from the Oktoberfest are great!! 8-)
