Old Knight parts - taken!
« on: March 09, 2008, 18:04:40 »
Sorting through my collection, I found these old shields etc. that'll never fit what I collect.

I found a second "dismayed unicorn" shield,  a  black eagle/red stripes drum, and a second black eagle/red stripes tabard after taking the picture.

I'll split it into:

1) Dismayed unicorn bits
2) eagle/stripes bits
3) red griffon bits
4) chromed helmets & visors
5) the odd "helmet" flag

One of the griffon flags is slightly broken at the top where it connects to a pole, and note that one of the horns has a sticker on upside down - it wasn't me who put it on!

If anyone wants any or all of this, post what you want here  e.g.  "I'll take 1) and 4)" or whatever (so nobody asks and can't have), pm me your postal address, and I'll pop them in the post no charge.

Wow, I would like them for my meager collection
of the now unavailable Städtwache...
Will you not sell them?
For me, I would ask you for all of these pieces...
Can I give you my postal adress through e-mail
(not wanting to be paranoid, but just in case).

Would you do me a scan of the gryphon shield, please, Martin.  I think it could be the good basis for a badge for my fire brigade.

PS: not forgotten your PM about the BA cylinders.

Oops. I completely forgot to do the scan before posting the package.  :-[

Pyrrhus, could you do a scan for Richard when it arrives?  ;)

They're yours, Pyrrhus! No, not selling them, just passing on a bit of goodwill. People here are kind an helpful, and I'm not looking to make any money from Playmobil. Email me your postal address and I'll get them out to you asap.

Gordon - I'll scan the gryphon shield first and email to you tomorrow.

Thanks Martin for the generosity... I was not so much scare from precisely any other member, but, you know, I wrote formerly that I download things for free from the eMule, just being cautious...

Bugger too late ;-)

I should wish you lots of fun with the parts, Pyrrhus ... but I just know you will ;-)

Thank you very much Bogro.
I had the bascinet, but in my ancient times of customizer I destroyed it to make a Greek helmet (I regretted that so much, that I no longer want to destroy or erode to customize).

Those parts are so beautiful...

Never customise one until you have two of them!

Sound advice worth repeating, Gordon!

Never customise one until you have two of them!

Never customize one until you have (at least) two of them!

he he, thank you for the advice, but be merciful!

Indeed, knowing that one can model as Malone does, I think the less necessary it becomes to worn parts while customizing. In addition, I prefer to erode the less possible because I do not have much numerous armies, so any deployment in the number of their uniforms wouold decresase their appearence as an army.

Good luck and see you.
