Yes, if it was a flag, it could be somewhat educational, because we would all have to learn to identify the flags of some countries we might not have been familiar with before.

Sorry, but those flags are too large for a signature image, Gassy. Could you please find some smaller ones?

Some form of programming would be required in order to provide the flag image for the members to choose from and for it to display as part of their profile. It's not as easy as one would think, unfortunately.

PrimusPilus' suggestion is probably the best solution, but please keep the flags to the same size as standard smileys/emoticons so they don't take up too much room on the page. :)

the German folks have a small country flag in their profiles, you can see them in their posts too

then again klickywelt has a different layout from that of playmofriends, so I don't really care if we can see the flag or not - the mandatory country/location field is sufficient in my opinion

Well, it's sort of done, but can anyone advise how to get rid of the URL link. I just want the flag!!!  And possibly a few sage words, now and again  :lol:
