Cute story! I love the whole concept.

It's pretty difficult to create a story which can be understood simply through photos and no additional text, but I think you've done a great job. 8-)

Well done and thanks for sharing it with us. :)9

Aaargh! It didn't quite work right. There was a final frame that didn't appear because I can only put ten pictures in a slideshow (on Photobucket). I thought I deleted this whole thread and was going to start again, posting all the pictures separately, and adding some description of each - though as you say, most of them are self-explanatory.

Ah well, it was my first attempt and I hope to do better. I'd like to develop a story around each character in time, and maybe the ten-frame slideshow will develop discipline!

The punchline was that the Port Admiral (the guy on th right in every frame) tries to demonstrate the magic himself, but it goes a bit wrong - here's the final two frames:

Nicely done ... Well executed ... Love the last two frames!

If you are using a Macintosh, Martin, you can do a slide show automatically and save it as an mpg, which you can upload here without having to go through a "photobucket" site.

I'm sure that there must be something similar for Windows users ... ???

Regardless, we all know how much creative effort, time and thought is required for a project like this. And, I think I speak for everyone when I say, "We are really appreciating, as well as enjoying, your presentation and your show!" Thank you!

All the best,
Richard

I really enjoyed your photostory, Martin - as they say, a picture's worth a thousand words.  At times it's quite surreal, but the punchline brings everything very much back to earth.

Thank you!

Ahhhhh.... I did think that the sequence ended a bit oddly the first time I watched it.

It does make more sense now. :yup:

Great ending!

Very funny story, Martin!  :D

Thanks for sharing.

I am just wondering what will be the main strategy to use magic against pirates?!  ???
wizarding holes into their ships? Or are they going to shoot tons of magical blankets onto the enemies vessels? :)
