I am (finally), starting to put the new reviews online, here: Super 4 Reviews (link on playkingdoms) (http://www.playkingdoms.com/pk2/library/articles/super4/super4.aspx)
This time we only got three sets - the dragon, Gonk and the aliens.
So, started with the Green Dread :love:

Alex was a HUGE disappointment. The wizard is gorgeous. Unfortunately, couldn't get my hands on repeats so far :(

I think the wizard used the potion to turn the cat into the dragon. Ruby gets turned into a dragon too but that might be another episode. Great dragon poses, it's bigger than I thought too.

Thank you - I had posted that hair before in the PROCESS... got it in a lot - the one I mistakenly thought was Leonora's in black :( Still nice - variety and all.

Common on playkingdoms since.. ever. The first dragon always insisted in hugging EVERYONE.. while saying "Little frriende" :)

Ah... Right. I REALLY REALLY wish there was a PROPER edition. Unknown concept to germans, I believe :(
As to the size of the dragon - same as the black dread, so we knew he is HUGE.

Hair is different, but the same "type" of head, yes. It's really really nice... and the hood too.

Great review and makes me happy that I ordered both the dragon and Gonk set.
My wife brought me back the Pirate Chameleon and I quite like it even if it's not perfect.
There's not enough room to properly stand a figure behind the wheel on top of the boat.
I wonder if they'll make a Medievalia or a Fairyland Chameleon in a third assortment.

If this version of the Chameleon was metal instead of green, might have bought it, but it would still be a mistake (for me!). Like I said, it is far too modern inside to play as something else... and the outside is too old for "space". We have the original one and it's great! :love:

why does the man (with a blue tie) have a flat top hair with 'teeth'? I suppose he's a famous cartoon character...we're getting more and more realistic hair pieces and now it looks like a 180 degrees turn 8}

Very nice review again. Interesting about the alien face difference. Fine by me, I have plenty of the regular Alien.
I have all three of these sets on their way to me as well as the space themed sets. Did you or will you be getting the new spaceship and air scooter sets? I will review them if not.

You could always create an Alien alien by swapping eyes though I thought all three were meant to be generic aliens.
The cage as used in the episode saw the super 4 gang captured by the alien tribe who were going to sacrifice them I think. The alien tribe also has problems with dinosaurs - t-rexes - who try to eat them - maybe because they steal baby t-rexes? I watched the whole first season on Netflix - the english version.
The feathers on the headdress for some reason have smaller pins so can't be used with hats that take feathers or vice versa. So feathers that look identical to the double feathers from the indian sets but aren't compatible - I think we've seen that before...
Love the pineapple, you could cut the peg off for a better pineapple for display but at least the peg being there means a klicky can hold the pineapple.
The eyes of the aliens pull out and then you can take the head off if you wanted. The sparky and frosty creatures like the ones in 6831 (fire and ice game) seem to have the same bodies so the heads could be swapped for ... well whatever reason. I guess their heads come off by pulling out their eyes :0 first too.

You mean from the Super 4? Didn't get any others, and don't plan to.. Like I said, the Chameleon is too ancient looking for a space thing and too modern for a steampunk thing (we considered it for the new guys :-[ ). Got the pirate - he's really nice, and I wish I could buy more of those beards.
The others are plain weird, with Dr X being the useless body type. I got the white guy from the car :)
All I am missing now is Ruby's non-hat hair. Actually, any Ruby hair is welcome. Still didn't see the black version anywhere.

I wish. I don't have that... I wanted to buy the series (I'm old school), and it didn't.. show up. :toot:

So did I. I ordered a bunch of them from DS to use on helmets but fortunately they got the order wrong and only gave (and charged) me one.
I think the peg is probably the same size as the pegs on trees etc that you can stick flowers, animals on but I haven't checked. Certainly not useful for hats or indians.

You're right! The indian ones have the flat connecting pieces. I was thinking about hat feathers but I think I'll confuse everyone if I try to explain my thought processes. ;D
Either way the alien feathers don't fit anything else useful unless you want to drill small holes in things.
