The 5271 Housekeeper is a part of the new hotel theme.

The housekeeper comes with a cart that is filled with cleaning tools, supplies, towels and a vaccuum.

There is also an ironing board, washing machine, laundry hamper and Playmobil shows its humor by the addition a mouse.

I like this set and the female figure.  Her uniform is simple and I can see it would be easy to adapt into many customized figures.  The tools (especially the plunger and vaccuum) and washing machine are great supliment to any of the modern city sets.  I think that a sponge mop would have been a good addition to the tool selection though.

Thanks for reviewing Joe! I agree, the klicky looks great and besides that vacuum cleaner is absolutely stunning. Old- fashioned, but great!

I agree, the uniform is really great. Not overly simple, but simple enough to be versatile. Thanks for the review! I'm really eager to get this set.

Lots of practical accessories in this set. And I like the mouse.

Thanks for the review!

This is one of the sets that I have so many of the elements (washer, ironing board, most of the brushes etc) that I have a hard time justifying getting it, and yet I really like the cart and the figure.  Of course if I were to stack the two washers on top of each other, as if one is a dryer, then suddenly it seems more worth it.  ;D

The mouse is a nice touch!

Thanks for the review :)

I got several those ladies in lots, and they are indeed great.

Hadn't noticed the vacuum cleaner.. it's ANCIENT! I like it. I might end up getting the set... :-[

This cleaning lady actually opens the door to a lot of jokes. She could show up anywhere in the background. Like moving her cart through a medieval castle's hallway, a fairy castle, etc.

And that plunger allows for some visual jokes too, one sim walking out of the toilet and another walking in with a plunger.

As you say great selection of tools she's well equiped to do the job and I like the figure she looks slightly exasperated like why do I have to clean up all this mess? to me  :)

I might have to "hire" one for my Top Agents HQ.
Though I suspect that the mouse might be a spy for the other side...
