Yes, the 1st one is a little less "noble" then the 2nd figure  ;D
My idea was not to use the 1st one as a servant though, but as a middle-class civilian, while the 2nd one indeed is a "dandy" as Playmofire suggested.  :)

That would work well, too, but remember that the nobleman's personal servant could be very influential and powerful so it was an important role.
