samurai wearing a 'Turtle' helmet
« on: May 28, 2016, 06:57:26 »
when Cowabounga-Arnaud showed his 3D drawing of a Junari Jingasa here last year, I said I wanted to make one from a PM helmet but I've procrastinated till today  :P

its a single-piece metal helmet with black lacquer finish with a gold moon crest(Mon)

...thanks for the inspiration Arnaud! (he drew me a red lacquered version with a gold thingy on top)

the back is higher( to accommodate their top-knots or pony tails) but there's no covers/protection for the back of their necks (not a helmet for battles)
....side view of helmet,
