November 10th, 2006, will mark the first anniversary of this forum's launch. :D
After much discussion by the team on how best to celebrate this special occasion, we have decided to hold a community-wide photo event where we would like to get as many members involved as possible.
Each person that provides a photograph will receive a small Playmobil gift as a sign of appreciation and a reward for their effort. :)
The theme for this event is the overall underlying reason for our forum's existence - "Friendship". You can use any Playmobil figures or accessories (custom/regular), in any setting that you would like, to help convey this theme in your photo. If you wish, you may even post more than one photo.*
There are no strict rules or regulations as such; we only ask that the photo you submit is all your own work and has not been previously posted in another topic at PlaymoFriends, or on another Playmobil forum or Web site.
One month from today, on November 10th, I will start a topic where all members will be invited to post their Playmobil "Friendship" photos. This should hopefully give everyone enough time to think up ideas, prepare scenes and shoot pics. The event will be open for a continuous period of time (a closing date is yet to be determined by the team) in order that everyone has sufficient opportunity to post their photos.
We would like to stress that this is not a competition. ;) The gifts given to each member will be of equal value and will not be governed by the style or quality of photo(s) they have produced. There will be no single photo selected for special recognition. Instead, everyone who contributes will be considered a "winner!" :yup:

*Just one birthday gift will be given to each contributing person regardless of the number of photos submitted.

I have realy racked my brains but i dont know what to do 8}. I am really struggling to come up with some ideas to do with friendship for the event. I have lots of other ideas but none are friendship related, they are just plain scary one's for Halloween :lol: .

It doesn't have to be an elaborate photo. There are no restrictions as to figures or themes, so you can use anything you like, even scary klickies! That sounds quite fun to me, actually. ;D
I'm sure you will come up with something, since you have a very good imagination. ;)
