Great customs Emma, true modelling where I just play with the stuff!
You can still buy roast chestnuts on the streets of London sometimes, so that custom was particularly pleasing. I've tried collecting and roasting my own sweet chestnuts, but they didn't turn out quite the same.
The green post box caught my eye, but you did your research. Nowadays all postboxes in the UK are painted red of course, with green ones in the Republic of Ireland. Original Victorian boxes are still in use in many places (there was a Victorian wall box just yards from my old house), a tribute to the design and engineering skills of the Victorians.
For those interested in learning more about London during the reign of Queen Victoria, I can highly recommend "Victorian London" by Antonia Fraser, a fantastic look at many facets of London during that era, that might suggest some new street life scenes such as a watercress seller, the fish market at Billingsgate, or the Great Exhibition at the Crystal Palace.
