Very difficult poll, Cachalote ...  8}

It's almost like asking, "Which is my favorite leg, the right one or the left one?"

I was hoping that I could toss out a half decade here and there. But, just about the time I was going to throw out a half decade, I would see one (or a few) of my favorite sets. That meant that I had to keep the entire half decade.

What I did learn is how Playmobil has kept me captive for all these years. Geobra has always made something that I really liked (and had to have) almost every year ... ;)

i had the same problem richard.  :yup:
i decided to vote for the first years and also for the 1999-2003 half decade.
the first time frame saw the appearence of playmobil and the fantastic (and courageous) 3550 pirate ship.
my second option marks the end of an era - up untill then, i liked all the playmobil pirate sets (the 3940 being so fantastic), from then on i started to feel that something was missing (parts, color schemes, etc.).
to be fair, there are still some recent sets i love and that i feel are rather "complete".
 :love: the 4136, as an example, has everything i could wish from a set.
 :) ... and it also has that "another world" quality that is able to transport us "elsewhere" - one of my favourite characteristics in a toy.

I would say that I wish I had enjoyed more the wonderful Victorian Theme when it was in production as it truly was a pure enchantment !!!
