A solid start to the afternoon with a shield hit for both knights.

Both knights are being more careful this run and keeping their shields up. It’s another shield hit for Sir Cecil but Sir Alexander manages to slip above Sir Cecil’s shield and gets a light hit to the helmet. That’s a two point score, giving Sir Alexander of Korent 3 points to Sir Cecil’s 2.
A win for Sir Alexander of Korent

In our second match for Group E we have Sir Cygnet
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/E/2/mj-1-e-2-1.jpg)
-
And his opponent Sir Adler of Saxony
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/E/2/mj-1-e-2-2.jpg)
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/E/2/mj-1-e-2-3.jpg)
It looks like it’s going to be a shield hit for both knights but at the last second Sir Cygnet’s horse raises his head up and bumps Sir Cygnet’s lance above Sir Adler’s shield.
One point for Sir Adler

Another solid run by these experienced knights, with a shield hit for both.
Sir Adler 2, Sir Cygnet 1
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/E/2/mj-1-e-2-5.jpg)
The third run for this match looks much like the last with good centered hits to the shield for both knights. One point for each.
The point advantage goes to Sir Adler reaching 3 points first he has the win.

Moving on to Group F now we have our first match featuring Sir Odysseus, Lord Doulichion of Ithica
That would be Ith-a-ca Vanidel
Right, sorry, Sir Odysseus of IthAca
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/1/mj-1-f-1-1.jpg)
-
his opponent this match will be Sir Paul E Merous
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/1/mj-1-f-1-2.jpg)
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/1/mj-1-f-1-3.jpg)
Looks like they are both still getting settled in for the match, a miss for both the first run
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/1/mj-1-f-1-4.jpg)
Our second run it looks they both have dropped their shields a bit. Sir Paul takes advantage of it and gets a body hit to Sir Odysseus’ shoulder, Sir Odysseus doesn’t spot the advantage in time and only gets a hit to the top of Sir Paul’s shield.
2 points for Sir Paul, 1 for Sir Odysseus
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/1/mj-1-f-1-5.jpg)
It looks like Sir Odysseus is going to keep his shield well up this run giving Sir Paul a solid target and a one point shield hit. Sir Paul takes a risk keeping his shield low again, but it pays off and Sir Odysseus misses him completely.
That gives the win to Sir Paul E Merous with 3 points to Sir Odysseus of IthAca’s 2
-
The second match for Group F we have Sir Bartholomew Hale leading out
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/2/mj-1-f-2-1.jpg)
-
And his opponent is Lord Alderran of Avelina
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/2/mj-1-f-2-2.jpg)
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/2/mj-1-f-2-3.jpg)
It looks like a solid run for both, with Lord Alderran trying to get his lance up over the top of Sir Bartholomew’s shield. He doesn’t quite make it though so we have one point for each.
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/2/mj-1-f-2-4.jpg)
The second run looks a lot like the last one, with a solid shield hit for Sir Bartholomew while Lord Alderran tries to get up over Sir Bart’s shield but not quite making it.
Score tied 2-2
-
(http://animobil.info/PFJoust/Marketon/Group%20Rounds/Round%201/F/2/mj-1-f-2-5.jpg)
Oh! What a solid hit! Sir Bart managed to sneak under Lord Alderran’s shield and unhorses him soundly. Lord Alderran manages a light helmet tap on his way out of the saddle but the unhorsing seals the match. A win for Sir Bartholomew of Hale.
Lord Alderran took a nasty fall there Vanidel, I think he landed right on his helmet.
Some head shaking there as he rises.
Yes but it looks like he is going to be fine.
-
That’s it for Groups E and F, summing up we have wins in Group E for Sir Alexander of Korent and Sir Adler of Saxony, and in Group F for Sir Paul E Merous and Sir Bartholomew Hale.
-

Another excellent tournamentgroup!! What an excitement!!!

Too bad, no more yellow dragons...

very exciting round indeed !!!!!

Beautiful Tournament Tim!
It is the second Tournament and i think that the tavern and the Ale from Krull will be my best companions as my knights are allergic to Tournaments winnings for second time.
BKR,Cowabounga and Sir Wolf let's drink again and watch the rest of the tournament!!
Where are the yellow dragons now???
Bravo again Tim for beautiful tournament!
-
Goodness me, Sir Cygnet is usless! ::)
Enjoying the tournament, Tim! :)
Damo :)
-
Awesome tourny so far!
Me thinks Sir Cecil needs to retire from jousting, he stinks!!
-
I guess in these groups experienced didn't matter so much. Some very unexpected finishes in these matches.
Sir Cygnet needs some lessons from his old man maybe?
