Hi,
I bought myself a second 5759 set to unpack and build (well, for €29,95 it isn't a tough decision ;D ) There are quite a lot of parts in that box! 8-) Thank goodness that lodge has the good old steck-system! I'd say it's good value! :yup:

I absolutely agree, Jean Luc ... !!!
Fortunately, this set is already in the States. And, when I saw the price (and that it was Steck) I also couldn't resist buying one even though I have had the original for many years. It will make a great add on to my 3433 Safari Station.
Thanks for the post and all the best,
Richard

Hi Richard,
I'm fortunate to have the old 3433 in sealed condition as well 8-) ....

Thank you for buying the extra set to show us, Jean Luc. It's not my theme, but it's a very ncice set. I especially like the folding table and chairs. Would you mind posting the part numbers for me? :)

table legs 30 60 3570
table top 30 23 7300
chair (this is a darker yellow than the ones in the umbrella table add-on set were) 30 67 5340
I am getting more and more tempted to buy a second of these sets so I can expand the building. There isn't much room left on my current table though, with the building and the 4081 landscapes plus a herd of gnu and zebras. :D

Thanks for the info Tim. :)

Hi Richard,

Hello, Jean Luc ...
My Ngorongoro Safari Station is not sealed. I bought it before Playmobil became a valuable collectible. Those were the days when I could play with Playmobil without worrying about destroying it's value. Now, I am a bit hesitant to open a box unless I have two or more of them.
I think I liked the old days better ... ;)
(Yes, I bought two of the new Safari Adventure Sets, so I could open one.) ... :-[
All the best,
Richard

Looking good!!!

Isn't this a neat set? Is not available in the General Catalog in the USA (only at Target?), and it has a companion set, the Crocodile Hunter boat, which is a very cute item at a nice price-point, too.
There is a similar Safari set on the Euro market right now #4081 (see attached photo) which does without the neat safari hut, but had something in it that the USA set didn't......(I noticed this under close scrutiny, of course, but can't remember what it was now!!)
Cheers!

Hey Ben,
For starters, the jeep is a different paint scheme (which I happen to think is WAY better looking than the US one) and it has the baby zebra.

Hi Matchboxluc. Thanks for posting the safari pics.
I am in need of the part number for the base of the straight palm tree. Could you help?
Also, thanks Ben for the pics of the other safari set. I like the zebra paint job on the jeep better than the one on the US target set.
Best regards,
Jimbo

No problem;)

Hi matchboxlux,
Thanks for posting the safari pics.
I am in need of the part number for the base of the straight palm tree. Could you help?
The number is 30 03 6850 for the base (where the stem of the palm tree fits in, if I understand you correctly)

Hi, Matchboxluc,
That is the number I need!
Thanks a Million ;D
Best regards,
Jimbo
