Danke für die netten Kommentare.

@Rasputin: Die Strecke ist fast ganz eben, da gibt's in der Regel gar keine Probleme - as the layout is as good as completely even I hardly face traction trouble.

Cheers for your nice comments.

That is a very peculiar engine sound ? Sound like gears
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Well not exactly the gears. There's a pole connecting motor and axles. But it wasn't the cogwheel that caused that noise but a wee hole in a plastic plate ment to hold the pole in its proper position. That very plate may shift a very little bit - and when shifted the pole doesn't run straight through any more but gets into a slightly lopsided position scratching at the holes edges. THAT's what makes that ugly sound.

Google Translate could not cope with what those two guys are saying to one another. I take it they aren't conversing in Standardhochdeutsch?

Snow as snow may come's welcome now!

Or 'Bring on the snow' ?

At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

That really looks awesome.

I am only vaguely aware that Faller had these trains for Playmobil. It's great to see them run!

Thanks for sharing!

Bravo!  What a great layout you have, jj, and what a neat idea for a snow plough.
