Playmobil Hansa cog
« on: January 07, 2007, 20:46:43 »
Hello all,

I just finished making this little ship.  It is a whimsical 12th century ship inspired by the Hansa cog.

The hull and fore and after castles are made from thin plywood.  The mast, sails and rigging are all Playmobil, as is the crew.  The seagulls are held on with little brass
pins.

The red stripe on the hull is a piece of plastic tape. (I didn't feel like painting one.)

Enjoy ;D

Excellent piece of work, Jimbo.  Just like the ones you see in the Chronicles of the times.

That's a fun little ship, Jimbo!

It's amazing that the real ones didn't flip over.

Thanks for sharing.

All the best,
Richard
