Fire Department Update
« on: October 02, 2006, 01:01:42 »
Hello everyone,

It has been a while since my last photo story, so here are some incidents that have happened since the water rescue.

Ladder 4 working on the roof of a structure fire.

Engine 3 tending to the victim of a traffic accident.

Engine 1 was first on scene to a working fire in the 1300 block of Winemiler Lane, 4 blocks from the University of Playmobil.

I hope everyone enjoyed the pictures. The Playmo police department is preparing for some type of SWAT raid on a local house, possibly in connection to the body recovered at the lake. More information will soon follow.   P) >:D

Thanks,

Ben

Thanks for the update, Ben.  I particularly like the winemiller 2 pic, although, as ever, all your pics are wonderfully realistic and detailed.  Thanks for showing them. :)

Nice pictures  ;D

How did the fire in Winemiler start?

(What do you do with such a fire after you have taken the photos? Do you let it burn out, or try to put it out using water from the playmobilhoses, or do you simply use your gardenhose?  :))

Great photos as always Ben.  A fire near the University? I can imagine how that one started...

Hello, Ben ...

Your up photo of the ladder enveloped in smoke is fabulous !!!

I've lost count of the number of fires that you've had, but I'm
beginning to think that you will soon run out of town to burn ...

I'm really looking forward to seeing your SWAT team in action!

Maybe they'll also find your arsonist ... ;)

Thanks for your great photos, Ben !!!
(And, I hope that you don't mind a bit of teasing.) ... :)

All the best,
Richard

Great as always, Ben!

I also wonder like Richard, if you're building for each incident a new building or if you're reusing older ones?

What I also wonder is how quick you're macking your photos? The fire and smoke looks that realistic so I assume that it is realistic. But then I'm wondering how you keep it under control so that no klicky is hurt (i.e. not melt) and fire get's out of control. (Ok, the fire seems to be that small that's difficult to become out of control for a humon guardian, but I mean out of control w.r.t. the intention you had with making the photos a destroying something you wouldn't like to)

hello everyone,

Thanks for the comments  ;D

Kvart - I usually keep the fires in check with the garden hose.

Richard - I too have lost count of the number of buildings.  ???  :-\

Jochen and Richard - I usually make new buildings each time.  And I am proud to say that I have never melted a a figure though theres been times though that I've had to move some klickies in a hurry.

Thanks, Ben
