This fire truck was made from the front of vintage car 5620, and the back end is from the vintage truck 5640. The bell is from an L.G.B. train. The fire truck body is made of plywood and brass. The frame was cut and stretched a bit to accept the fire truck body.

Wow, that's excellent, James. It deserves a kudos, and you've got one.

Wow - this looks beautiful. Thanks for the pic - you have done an excellent job here.

Fabulous conversion, James! :wow:
I think Richard made a comment in another topic recently about the possibilities of making different types of vehicles using parts from the Victorian truck (.... or maybe it was the Oldtimer).
It's great to see a photo of what you have created through a clever combination of the two vehicles. 8-)
Thanks for sharing it with us. :)9

That really is Beautiful, what a fantastic display piece, yet again it shows that Playmobil is more than just a toy when in the hands of great customizers.
Welcome to playmofriends James.
Garry.

Hello, James ...
I'm happy that you made it over here to Playmofriends. However, with the incredible customs that we have all seen from you, I'm sorry that we lost you over at GW-PC ...
Should you ever decide to create some historical military vehicles (or figures), please come back ... ;)
All the best,
Richard
