Title: Commemorative exhibition in Almeida (Portugal)
Post by: NICO on July 04, 2021, 11:12:04
Hello!

If you are planning a trip to Portugal, here you have the opportunity to enjoy with our beloved Klickys.

The Spanish association of Playmobil collectors, AESCLICK, goes beyond borders. This time it is a diorama for the 200th anniversary of "O cerco de Almeida". Almeida is a Portuguese border town that suffered the siege and attack of the Napoleonic Grande Armée.

Remember that AESCLICK is a non-profit association that carries out charitable work by distributing PLAYMOBIL toys free of charge to groups working with underprivileged children.

The assembly was held on 25th, 26th and 27th June. It is located in the Municipal Library inside the National Museum of Almeida, in the fortifications that protected the city. It will be on display until the end of September.

I'm loving this!! Why can't Playmobil make bearskin hats like those....and keep them on ready supply for spareparts?  Crazy....they would be so popular!!! 8-)
