Most likely that skirt is a seperate piece. That's how it is on the cheerleader and ballerina. Then there's just a regular bikini bottom under there.

Yes, it's the same mold for the bikini part... though of course she has ballerina shoes on so the legs are different.

Are you saying that the female legs of these types fit the male torsos (of the same, newer type)? I don't have any, but that'd be interesting, since they are different without the "hang over" of the torso.

Yes that's right. The lower half of the males and females is exactly the same, and interchangable.
