my klickies' arms have been changing torsos :lol: ever since I learnt how to dismantle them ;D
and now I dont know where ALL these 3 pairs of matching arms come from.
can anyone help me identify them? there are many shades of brown that dont match (egyptian & Red Indian torsos dont match!).
I wonder if Heather would call these brownish-orange (and Egyptian/Red-Indians orangy-brown?) or the other way around..
..on photos they look quite similar so the only way to confirm is to fix them to these armoured torsos (or if you dont have these torsos, fix them to a Red Indian/Egyptian and then they should NOT match)

Hmm, I took a look and couldn't figure out which figure those are from. :( They must be quite rare. I thought I knew a few that might have them, but they all seemed to be different shades of brown.

...I've often asked why PM has to have so many shades of green/blue etc...I dont think kids notice or bother :P
...but now with Fi?ures, there's even more reasons (besides economy in manufacturing processes) to standardise to say just 3 shades for blue/green/brown ;D
and of course us customisers would have an easier life and have less redundant coloured parts ;)
my torsos are from this Arab (as you can see, this Arab's arms are similar in colour to our Red Indians too)

and Mike1003: thanks for helping...I'm afraid these egyptian torsos and arms have a different shade from the Arab's torso...I'm just lost for words as how best to describe these different brown shades (hope i dont further confuse by showing this Egyptian)
..anyway I need these arms as brown matching sleeves (their hands has to be light skin colour)

My respects, Master cheng! I can't tell you where those arms are from, unfortunately. BUT, I have one pair I just found in my spares. I have popped too many clickies to remember which clicky they belonged to, yet, I'd be happy to send to you along with our current business. ;)

I'll still have to find another 6 pairs so i'm asking collectors who dont pop all their klickies
(or those who do but have fantastic memory)
please, please help me identify which klicky they come from..you dont have to give me yours...I'll try to buy them from DS ;)
....since I have 3 pairs amongst my own customs (and never purposely bought multiples of these unusual coloured arms), I'm still very curious and hope there are more than 1 type of klicky that come with these arms (then more chances of getting another 6 pairs from DS ;D)

Wow... thats a hard one... :eh?: At some piont I recall asking the same question... are there arms the same colour as that torso ???
I am certain I've never come across any such arms in the Knights theme, otherwise I'd have spare of them (unless it was an eagter egg special)... nor in the vikings theme, where the torso was also used... bb is correct, egyptian arms have tan hands, so the arms are not from any egyptian klicky... My guess would be its from any othere possible theme :-\ Victorian (there were multy-coloured suits all over the theme) sports, outdoors, city life, farm... the colour could be from anywhere, resembling a farm vest or a suit or a training uniform..
Now... Its probbly a long shot, and it mostly looks deep orange, but, could it be that the following klicky have the arms you need, cheng?

ok...seriously, I'm very sure I dont have three of this 4967 klicky's torso (dont even have one :P)
but you could be right....photography can easily make a right colour look wrong ;)
But if 4967 arms matches, I'll buy another 6 ;D
..but can any owner of this '4967 farmer' confirm whether his arms match the Arab Special's torso?

I'm pretty sure I never had this farmer. So my guess would be to also check the western theme. :hmm:

When I held my arab next to the photo, this one looked pretty close, but I haven't got him so can't check I'm afraid.

The mexican from McLaren's Goldmine seems to have the same arms - (ignore the first picture which shows him with white arms)

hey Elaine I dont have him and both Heather & me would have thought it looks red from the visuals but your Arab torso proves that its the same colour!! ok...I will check DS for this mexican...thank you thank you (on the other hand what if they sent me the version with white arms instead? scarry to have 6 with white arms :P)

HEY EVERYONE!!!
I think you guys & gals have helped me identify the owners of all the 3 pairs of my 'dark orange' arms namely;
1)30 00 0482 Man, "red" shirt, green vest with pockets (I had one)
2)30 00 5530 Mexican (I'll look for his vest to prove I had one)
3)30 00 8160 Jungle Pirate, brown and tan clothes (I had one)
now I'm beginning to think that Elaine's hunch that
30 00 4112 Man, "red" jacket, jeans might also have them (I dont have one to prove this)

That last guy is current from one of the motorcycle sets... so should be available DS... though the new one might be a tad darker

hey Baron...the new biker's jacket and arms are darker probably because he's different from "30 00 4112 Man, orange arms with jeans" ...the box art shows a different type of jacket ;)

Strangely I happened to have the jungle explorer on my desk - he arrived yesterday in with some other klickies I bought 8}
His arms are a darker shade than the ones you need, more brownish.

this thread has gotten too long and maybe confusing to follow so may I summarily ask;
anybody has this 30 00 0492 animal keeper (from 3240 or 4069)
or has the 4967 farmer
and can match their arm colours with the Arab special or the knight's father torso?

I don't have any of them, but the farmer looks quite orange to me, like the carrot he's feeding the animals. :)

think youre right...I never thought of looking at this gaudy pirate...maybe kids like his get-up :P
but we must bear in mind that colours on our PC screens are quite deceptive...here we see the dark orange brown arms...but the other picture shows the red chinese pirate with 'brown'(when it should be bright red) torso ;)

sorry to kick up this old topic, although I have found some matching brown arms, I'm thinking of ordering some of these windsurfers for their orangy-brown arms too...anyone has one and can confirm whether his arms match the armoured torsos at the beginning of this thread?
