Title: TRIVIA - who can give me the ETN (part number) for the red sticks
Post by: cheng on August 04, 2011, 08:08:08
my trivial pursuit question as promised;
(not the light brown sticks nor the older black ones from the red indian set)

those not asleep may consult PlaymoDb but dont ask Heather ;D
(and those who own these red sticks, do tell us you have them but please dont reveal the answer yet)

I daren't give a time-limit in case someone answers this within 5 minutes (but I think its not that straight forward a search...come on you CSI experts!!  ;) )

I was expecting someone to grab the ETN of the kid's drumsticks..
guess it took you less than the time I took to pose the samurais  :P
how did you do it??
you didnt search for the word stick surely?

flatcat was looking for this part some months ago, but I knew it before that because I saw it on the 7399 circus truck on the DS catalogue  ;D

thanks Gustavo (i was beginning to think i asked to simple a question or that i'm the one who still needs lessons in 'CSI' work after so many years of hunting for parts  :P

and Heather, if youre reading this...do tell us whether you would have answered this trivia easily? (we dont expect you to remember every PM part you add to your enormous database  ;) )

Probably! I knew there were drumstick-shaped parts used on the front of the big trucks, so I would have tracked it down. I concede that the name is not very useful for searching though - got to get around to renaming all of 3277. On my to-do list!

sounds fair enough Heather ;D I thought you might not bother to examine PM vehicles :P

even Geobra names things differently sometimes...I suppose it depends on the set/purpose at that time...these red width gauge are called 'paukenschlegel'(timpini sticks) maybe because they were earlier used as drum sticks in an even earlier set ???
