Awww. That's a really sweet scene! :D

The white fleece fabric is a great idea for a snowy effect as it's soft and spongy enough to look like snow but still provides a firm enough surface so the figures don't become unbalanced. Must try that myself one day. ;)

Thanks for sharing the photos, Tim. :-*

DH's first comment was "He got it right! He has 9 reindeer!"  ;D

;D Yes, that was my first thought too. I tried to do so too, but I missed ordering the DS reindeer add-on packages last year so I think, I have to order them separately.

Anyway, really nice and athmospheric work, Tim.

Watch for after Christmas sales - I got mine from an extra Santa Sleigh set on for half price. Rudolph is the single reindeer from the Advent Calendar with the little sleigh in it.

Here are the promised additional pics:

The Aliens here were a holiday gift from last year I added in recently.

and someone familiar looking out at the scene (I understand his tool knowledge comes in handy during the busy season)

Slightly off topic but I thought I would stick it in this thread rather than start a new one for only one photo.

First, GREAT idea for a tree ... I've been wondering what to get for the little guy for his room next year ... doing a jungle tree will be perfect!

I'm just going to order reindeer and sleigh parts directly from DS, but I'll have to wait until after Christmas, apparantly, as they're not answering my emails  :hmm:

Luckily enough, I just won the lighted tree, and the Santa I like best (in your tableau) on ebay for $13.25.  I'm a happy camper  ;D

DH and I finished our 'Santa's Castle' this afternoon, but I won't get it fully decorated until Christmas Eve.  I'll take pictures then.  Alas, it won't have a Santa's Dragon or Dinosaur  :'(  Possibly other Santa's Critters, though  ;)
