Wow, it's soo beautiful

The detail of the "ground" is really great.

Zeit, mal wieder weiter zu berichten - time to tell some news:

Country-side completed with background, flat houses on "station side" in progress. We have the term "Kulissenhäuser" in German for that flat type houses just suitable as setting or backdrop, and there for sure is one in English too, but I don't know it  :-[.

Lots of progress there and looking very good.

In English the "flat houses" are called "low relief".

The set with the man with a beard and wearing a top hat is interesting.  It looks a special release for a  museum or town.

And as about the black bearded top hatted man...

He's one of Frankonians most favourite: Löb Strauß from Buttenheim (just 20m north of Zirndorf). Due to European recession midst of 19th century he emigrated to the USA, following the gold diggers. He noticed: normal trousers used to tear under rough work so he introduced a new, stronger fabric. These new pants turned into best sellers till today: Löb's is a well known brand and the package shows his birth place at Buttenheim.

Ach so, ja, Löb nahm in den umlautfreien Staaten wieder die ursprüngliche, hebräische Form seines Namens an, Levi - when emigrated into a non-o-umlaut-country Löb turned to use his name's original Hebrew version: Levi...

You better just enjoy the pics not waisting any thoughts at those texts. They're not German  ::).
