Secret Klicky for Tiermann - Pilgrim
« on: December 16, 2007, 21:48:58 »
This is the klicky I received from Socrates - Thanks Socrates!
He came in his clear display box with a scene on the back.

He came attached to the base but was pretty loose, so it wasn't too difficult to let him roam free on his pilgrimage

Since I have so many animals my first thought upon seeing him was that he was St. Francis, his enclosed letter named him only as a pilgrim, but I suspect Socrates wont mind if I have him look out for my Playmobil animals.
Thanks again Socrates, he's a great figure.

Sweet! Very nicely done Socrates!

That is a great custom, and I think he makes a perfect St. Francis.

Wow! Great custom! And wonderful presentation, too.

I really like how Socrates painted the hood to make it look like part of the pilgrim's cloak.
Clever way to create a tonsure also. 8-)

Thanks for the photos, Tim! :)

I also think he makes a great St. Francis.

I must be getting a bit slow in my old age ...  :eh?:

It took me awhile to figure out how Socrates made the "bald" head for his St. Francis! ...  :-[

VERY CLEVERLY DONE!
(This is another one of those times when I say to myself, "Now, why didn't I think of that?") ...  ;D

He looks perfect with your animals, Tim! ...  :wow:

Happy Holidays everyone,
Richard

He's great!

The hood is a good idea too.  I made a cardinal the other day using a red hood like that.
