Cleaning used sets
« on: December 24, 2015, 01:31:05 »
I recently bought a few used sets off of eBay and while they are in pretty good condition they are somewhat dusty (which is easily remedied) and they are scuffed and dull looking.  I was wondering if anyone has ever used Pledge or some kind of wood cleaner on the furniture to make it shiny again?

Try a wash in warm, soapy water first as dust can get "stuck" on.  I have washed Playmobil in the dishwasher on an eco setting without problems.

For polishing, I have used car polish or to remove stubborn stains the type of car polish used to remove liught scratches, but be careful with this - not too much, don't rub too hard.
