I'm not into Steampunk fiction or video games or anything, so I don't know much, but is this based on something, or did you come up with the idea yourself? I know that ships like this are commonplace in the genre, but does The Phoenix belong to some particular fiction?
-
Absolutely awesome work of art, Emma!
-
Beautiful!

 Hi Pynedor,
no the Phoenix is my own idea not really based on anything I just wanted to combine one of my hot air balloons with a ship. I've only read one Steampunk series, but I do like the fashion / style. I loved things like Jules Verne and H G Wells and I wanted to do some thing in that style.

I'm not really into Steampunk either but I liked the theme's big diorama and wonderful customs on Luxplaymodays this year (I wasn't there but I've seen the pics), and this creation is another outstanding beautiful example!! 8-)
Great job again, Emma! :)9

Once again you show you are a true Playmobil artist!
Other artists may use paint, clay, stone or such, but playmobil seems to be your chosen medium to portray your art with. :)

FANTASTIC!!!

Emma
To repeat everyone else, this is fantastic. I am a Jules Verne fan as well, although not steampunk, but the creativity in steampunk engineering is really fun. I love your combination of the hot air balloon and the wings for the ship, just wondering if you had considered an underwater observation room in the keel, that would be "so" Jules Verne.
