what an amazing location . It looks like you could swim to the island . I guess after you hit the shore it can no longer be called "Unexplored" Be sure to bring a Playmobil flag to jab into the tallest peak to claim the territory from the natives
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Richard,

I am sure your running around the beach taking photos of Playmobil and the fact that other people stayed away is not a causal relationship. Beautiful photos and definitely claim the island from the natives, I am sure they are not doing anything with it! :yup: :yup:

How prophetic of you, Gus!

We weren't expecting any surprises this evening, but we sure got a BIG one!

As we were making preparations for the storm, a live dinosaur charged into our base camp.

Fortunately, we had our dino cage (4175) all set up and ready.

DINO CAPTURE

The first storm came during the evening and lasted most of the night. Today the sun is shining and it's time to resume our Dino Expedition.

After we captured the Iguanasaurus yesterday evening, it was decided that we would load him (in the cage) onto the trailer. We would then drive our surprise visitor away from our base camp. And, once we were far enough away, we would release him.

The furthest thing from our thoughts was the possibility that this gentle herbivore might not want to leave.

After opening the cage gate, we soon realized that our new friend wanted to stay with us.

It actually took some physical pushing and pulling before he finally climbed a small tree. We then quickly drove off to continue storm preparations. (Fortunately, it was a small storm and we had no damage.)

The first photo shows the captured Iguanasaurus.

In the second photo, he's really giving me a look (I had to keep telling myself that he was an herbivore) ...  :klickywink:

In the third photo, we have the Iguanasurus loaded on the trailer (4175).

And, the fourth photo shows the gate open with our guest not wanting to leave.

Amazing quality and great story... I second Andi, the most impressive photostory I've seen a long time ago...

...and you are a really brave explorer, richard.
 :camera:

after all only one question remains: Does eating playmobil makes you a carnivore?  ???  ;)

As colorful as they are, Andi, the Iguanasaurus are almost impossible to see when they're in the jungle.

I'm using my favorite camera. It's a Canon PowerShot A510 (3.2 mega pixels)

Socrates, I have seen many "used" Playmobil figures at flea markets and boot sales with teeth marks. These unfortunate little Klickys must have been attacked by Playmovores pretending to be young childen ...  :klickywink:

Thanks again, Andi and Socrates!

All the best,
Richard
