Cool thread. I was luck enough to get many of these sets on eBay a few years ago. They look great in my son's room. Which I hope to have done soon. Ill post pics as soon as its ready.

5134 abenteuerschatzinsel
5138 schiffbrüchiger auf palmeninsel
5139 soldatenfestung mit schatzverlies
and the 4164 adventskalender piraten schatzhöhle (included because it has a cardboard island).

it's confirmed, the 5949 soldiers' bastion set exists, not as a target exclusive but (for the moment) as a u.s. regional exclusive.

wolf knight made a review of it - http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=9033.0.
he called it the "soldiers fort and small pirate ship".
its origin is unknown - i got mine here in portugal and they seem to be available also in greece and mexico.
it comes with a small fortreass and island.
