What camera do you use to take your Playmobil photos with?
« on: November 01, 2019, 02:26:15 »
What camera do you use to take your Playmobil photos with so let’s see pictures of your camera you use or you can just type out what camera you use, it’s totally up to you.
It doesn’t matter how big or small your Playmobil collection is, it’s what you do with it that matters.

It's all done with mirrors!

I use a Canon EOS 7D SLR, with a Tamron 18-200 zoom lens, or a macro lens for close-ups. But I think lighting, positioning, composition, cropping, choice of background, focus etc. are far more important than equipment, so phone or compact cameras often produce better results than hi-spec cameras. Just look at some of the photos people use to try and sell stuff on eBay for examples of good and bad photography!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

Photos for my website or diorama shots are taken with a Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
Instagram photos are usually taken directly by my Samsung tablet.
I use Photoshop Elements for editing my website and diorama photos.

Actually my camera (an Olympus sp-620uz) died about 2 weeks ago.
So I´m (slowly) looking for a new one, most probably compact again. Any recommendations about which one(s) to choose from the present assortments?

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

A Cannon 550D SLR with the factory lens then I edit using RNI Films and Snapseed.

Used to take pics with my IPhone SE and they were good enough, but all things being equal, there’s no comparison between taking pics with a proper camera and a cellphone.
