Hello, Craig ...
I recently bought this boat of eBay
Congratulations! The Danish fishing trawler, Susanne has always been one of my favourites. I'm sure that you will enjoy her. BTW, how much is she going for these days on eBay?
All the best,
Richard

Hi Richard I am trying to upload some more pictures but failing. I bought this one from Argentina but it has a few differences from the German one so not sure if my 140.00 pounds with postage was ok or wether I have a copy - Craig

It has a basic carboard base and insert with no picture on the underneath

If I remember correctly, the German set had a solid styrofoam bottom with a cardboard top. However, if the plastic is the same quality as Playmobil Deutschland, then I think that you got a very fair deal at 140 pounds with shipping.
All the best,
Richard

The instruction sheet is not the full colourfull one and the sticky flag section has one part missing
-
The Hull is pre-painted/printed and some of the colour has worn of. The plastic The plastic appears to be the same as the original however the deck has already been screwed to the hull with a few scratch marks were a screwdriver has slipped but nothing too noticeable.
-
The sails are of a thin red vinyl as opposed to the heavy orange of the German version

The loose parts are in 4 seperate bags which I havent opened yet. Although one thing I noticed is that there is one bit of very thin white cotton and two heavy strands of coloured cotton in red and orange
-
The masts look fine except some of the hull paint has rubbed on to them.

So to round off there appears to be two people selling these and other vintage sets on eBay from Argentina. I paid 140 pounds which is 280 US Dollars including postage. There was two loops from the hull snapped off in transit and one from the rear mast. My guess is that these are genuine but as they were made under licence in Argentina by Antex they were slightly cheaper in production with a few differences from the original German version mainly in the packaging.
Any comments from the floor would be appreciated
Kind regards
Craig
