We'll start with pics of the box:

And here is a view of the sticker that can be applied to the box:

The castle comes in three pieces:

And here it is assembled, sorry about the crooked top piece, I didn't notice until I uploaded the pics.

And some more views of it:

Now a view of the box, showing the footprint on the board where the caste goes, and a nice backdrop.

And here it is with the castle:

The set comes with a couple of landscaping pieces, one stand of trees, and an archway, which the fountain fits into that hole.

A closer view of the fountain. It's quite detailed.

Here are the four couples that come with the set, each a different color;
There is also a king on a throne. There is a little square out in front of the caste to put his throne... one problem with this set is that the castle isn't metal, so if you put the throne or one of the couples on the castle, they don't stick.

Here is the royal carriage:
And there is room for a couple to fit inside of it for a ride:

And two royal guards:

A view of the carriage and guards (sorry it's a bit blurry):

A close-up of the castle:

The two children that come with the set:

And an overview picture to finish it out:

Again, I really really love this set, it has so much detail for being so small. My favorite thing is the carriage, which actually holds a standing couple in it. It's really great! Just like the other castle set, though, these children do not have magnetic feet, which is a minor inconvenience. And also, the castle must be disassembled before closing the box. But it's still so nice and convenient to be able to store all the little pieces so conveniently in the box.

Now that one I don't have as it's just not my theme. Nonetheless, it's a delightful and well thought out set and I'm surprised at how much it contains.
I'd be interested in the part number of the trees, please.
Another great review; thank you.

Amazing set this one too. IM also amazed at how much it brings. The detail and paint is unbelivable for that size.

@ Gordon: the part numbers can be found in the set inventory here: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=4330

Thanks, I'd not thought of playmoDB (even though in the light of your reviews I'd been looking at the micro sets on it! )

(How very lovely! )

My daughters love this set - the playmobils have playmobils.
It is kept up high and they take great care with it.
