Introduction
« on: January 26, 2009, 21:43:11 »
Hello,

My name is Adrian, and I am a playmobil collector.

I have been collecting since 2001 when my parents brought over all of my original sets as they were moving house. I now have two children myself who also love playmobil (thankfully) and a very supportive wife.

I have over the years read many of these forums with fascination, and  been amazed by the dioramas some other collectors have built, but have never got round to joining, however this board that I only recently have found is very friendly and knowledgable, and I look forward to sharing some of my own customs and dioramas in the future with you all.

Thanks Adrian

Greetings Adrian, from the Great Pacific Northwest!  I am sure you will enjoy yourself here amongst kindred spirits and I look forward to seeing some of your photos.

Do you have any particular weaknesses (i.e. themes)?

Hi Adrian

Welcome to PlaymoFriends! :)

Looking forward to seeing some photos of your collection and learning more about your interest in Playmobil.
You started getting back into Playmo about the same time as I was just discovering it.
I bet you're glad that your parents kept your early collection for you! :yup:

Have fun! :D

Welcome Adrian!

An understanding wife or other partner is most necessary for adult collectors!

I'm looking forward to learning more about your collection, Playmobil covers so many themes that no two coleldtiosn are quite the same.

cheers,  Martin

Hi all,

Thanks for your warm welcomes.

I seem to collect all themes in some way or another, each set has something that can be used elsewhere in other sets.

I will post some pictures as soon as I have understood the technicalities.

Thanks Adrian
