Title: "Johohoo"... but without rum??

It has been crossing my mind, that the nice rumbottle (darkgreen flask, with a long neck) that only just appeared with the 4290-Pirates' ship and the accompanying sets, has already disappeared again!?  ???

It is not to be found anymore in any of the new pirates' theme sets that replaced the ones mentioned above. It is/was a very typical rumbottle, whereas the old red/transparent one is rather a winebottle. The winebottle is back, but no more rum it seems... :sorrow:

What could be the reason for this?  :eh?:
A production-matter perhaps?  :eh?:
The flask is also almost indentical to the one in Hergé's book "The Secret of the Unicorn" (the ship's main cargo is rum stored in such bottles), could it's disappearance from the new Playmo-sets therefore have something to do with... copyright??  :eh?:

Yeah, I wondered why they stopped putting those in the new sets... instead, and in addition to the clear, and emty, wine bottle, the following items appear to have replaced the flask in question...

I really like the dark green rum bottle too.  I really hope they continue to make it. :captain: :arrr:

 :( a lot of nice things are disappearing form our pirate world.
 ;) this should mean that some add-on bags full of extras for us collectors have to be released.

Never know what the next batch will bring, I believe the large pink bottle was gone for a while too and made a return this batch.

Overall I'd say pirates is still the strongest historic theme they have. If a steel anchor, string rigging and rum bottles are your only worries for the pirate theme, just imagine the worries for the western and medieval themes.  ;)
