Good evening dear Friends

I am delighted to introduce the Countess of Grantham, Queen of the Victorian society !

Her garden parties were legendary and the most anticipated event of the summer social calendar. She is seen here with her precious note book which she was often updating with her private notes and anyone every member of the fashionable London society was hoping that their name would be in it for the season to come.

Charming, witty but also lethal, the Countess knew all the secrets of the victorian society and often invited people to expose a scandal or unlock the key to family secret. Was she feared ? Most definitely since a single sip of her favorite Earl Grey tea was enough to make or break a reputation  ;)...

Welcoming Miss Emmeline Pankhurst from the Women's suffrage movement and the most famous Suffragette of her time  :) !

She was introduced at the age of 14 to the women's suffrage movement. In her early years she actively actively encouraged women to join the movement and could be found on the busy streets of most major cities starting with London.

With leaflets, clip board to hand and wearing the bold colors of the suffragettes , she was passionate about the cause. Whilst often criticized for her strongly militant tactics, her contributions toward achieving women's suffrage in Great Britain are well-recognized even today

Welcoming Miss Johanna Clara Louise Lehzen  !

She was the governess of young Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria had a lifelong passion for dogs and her Royal kennels could gather up to 100 dogs at any one time.

One would often see the Governess taking some of Victoria’s favorite pets out for a walk around Windsor Castle Gardens – with a cane in hand and in her own words "the dogs would joyfully stroll with her like a little procession of fur"

Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins

"Early each day to the steps of Saint Paul's, the little old bird woman comes
In her own special way to the people
She calls, "Come, buy my bags full of crumbs" ( from Mary Poppins Feed the Birds scene)

No one knows her name or where she comes from and her clothes are ragged and dirty. Her hat has seen better days and her shawl is frayed - yet there are signs that this woman has known better days. In her box of belongings, there is a silver key - one that would open a grand door of a country estate, she can clearly read as she has a book and she has a copy of the times newspaper. The yellow rose on her bonnet is made from delicate fabric but is now sad and has several petals missing but she seems happy in her own little world with her birds and the Victorian street kids around her

Welcoming Isabelle "Belle" Bilton.

Belle was raised by a middle class family and became an actress and dancer in London - known as the Peasant Countess - she fell in love with William, Viscount Dunlo and eventually married becoming the Countess of Clancarty.

The Dunlo family were against the marriage and Belle faced real hardship as she tried to be accepted by the aristocracy. She used her charm and determination to embrace her life and it is a real rags to riches story. However she never really forgot her roots and even with all the gems, title and admirers - she was still Belle
