I'd like to start off this one by saying that Gordon has already done a wonderful review of this set here: http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=3183.msg37186#msg37186
But since I had already taken pics for this review before I realized this, I thought I'd go ahead and post mine, too. I hope you don't mind, Gordon. :-[ I have a few observations I'd like to add.
Front and back views:

Like the other sets, there is a sticker that can be applied to the box. I'd also like to point out this is a different blue from the 2005 series of microsets which were all blue.

The airport comes in several pieces:

And put together it looks just like the normal size airport.

Here is a pic of the interior of the box, featuring a footprint showing you where to put the airports, runways, a parking lot uncomfortably close to the runway, and a lovely cityscape in the background.

The airplane:

And here it is next to the airport, ready to load passengers:

There is a minivan included to put in the parking lot:

It also includes a luggage train and an airport taxi:

A pilot and stewaress:

And several travelers with their luggage:

Interestingly, this set comes with two little boys. Every other microset comes with a boy and a girl, even the castle sets.

And like the other 2007 series microsets, they have little magnets in their feet, so they don't fall and skin their knees on the runway. ;)

And an overview pic in closing.

That's the ast of the reviews for now. Hopefully I will soon get my hands on the farm and noah's ark sets!

another excellent review of a great set!! Hey these keep growing on me...

Another excellent review, Bonnie, and thank you for your kind comments in my earlier review. It can be useful having two different reviews as different reviewers will tend to approach things from different aspects. For me, this view was especially useful as I hadn't realised that the clear plastic tube marked "Airport" was the passenger loading access - I just thought it was a sign advertising that this was the airport!

How do you know they are both boys? Little girls never wear pants? ;)
Thanks for the micro reviews :)
-
was this set ever available in the US? :D
grat review
-
I'm not really sure that the 2007 micros ever did make it to the US. :-\

this one is lovely too but my favorite so far is the pirates set
