Mine is in at the toy store; it was $20 cheaper than what's online. It'll be another month or more before I can pay it off, regardless. I'm glad to have it secured, though. 124 stickers is very annoying.  :o

My partner is worried that there may be future releases just as expensive.  8}

Only 124 stickers to apply (if you can get hold of a set).

You´ll need a warp-drive to apply them, otherwise see you again for dinner next decade.  8}

The Enterprise is currently out of stock on all Playmobil sites

Already sold out, or distribution issues??

For that price, are printed pieces too much to ask for? Apparently so …

I hope "sold out", because that would mean it was a huge success and we will get more exclusive sets in the future :)

On the official site you can sign up for an 'alert' for when it's back in stock, but I think they do that for discontinued sets too so it might not mean anything.

We got a handful of units at the toy store where I work (mine is on the way in the mail) and our rep says the rest are coming.  I wouldn't worry too much yet.

The Enterprise is pretty great - mine showed up. About 3-4 hours to assemble, wire, and sticker.  The figures would be great if sold separately, mostly so they can go beam down and harass your other figures.

The ship itself isn't as impressive as some of the $10,000 prop replicas I've seen at trade shows, but the electronics are staggeringly good and the ship's plastic has that Playmobil feel - a hard-to-describe texture - that just plain works.   Other than the saucer being a little thick, It's a pretty great replica.

As there are no announced other sets I started digging out other sets, and I found some of the dinosaur scenery and Super 4 plants made for great "planet" environments.  I think these almost look more Star Trek than a licensed Star Trek set would look.

The figs look great in your alien set-up; I have two of those Super4 sets (one still unopened). I get  my Enterprise next weekend; it's been on lay-away since Sept, & I've made space for it in the living room.
