Lord Alexander accepts the invatation of Aun Kerac to begin trading, and Krull's invatation to visit the beautiful capital.

The current king is Lord Alexander of the family Alexander, which has ruled since the kingdom's founding. He lives in the palace of Unterstossberg with his queen Elizabeth. The palace is located at the heart of Katzenreich's largest city, which lies along the border with the Empire.

Lord Alexander and Queen Elizabeth, above.

Once I build them  ;)...
For now, here's Alexander's royal court:

Alexander's top military advisor, Sir Rodney of Partridge. 40 years ago, Rodney fought in the Great Battle of Katzenreich the enlarged the kingdom by half. When Alexander became king, he promoted this knight to his royal court.

Alexander's second military advisor, Baron Sir Mizewell of Greenwich. Mizewell, or simply Mize, is the baron of a quarter of Katzenreich. Also, altough younger than Rodney, Mizex is Alexander's second most trusted advisor and has led several skirimishes in the last decade.

Alexander's top knight and good friend, Sir John of Highfield. A simple man, but one of the good friends of the king, Sir John is the best fighter in the Katzenreich military. He has a good friendship with Alexander, who he's know since they were young.

Here are some map pictures showing Katzenreich's geography and infrastructure.

The kingdom of Katzenreich lies along the coast of the Great Abyss Lake with Trechisperia to the East, Ithaca to the south and the Empire to the North.

Joining the kingdom together are three major thoroughfares. Meerhalf Road crosses Katzenreich to the coast, Seintraussa Road connects East and West and Zauberhaupt Road connects the Southeast corner of Katzenreich to Meerhalf. Another part of the kingdoms infrastructure is the border wall. Although currently peaceful, Katzenreich's leaders predict that the storm of war may be coming to the south. The wall is higher and lower depending on the cities that lie along it within Katzenreich. Guards patrol even the most remote segments of the wall regularly to prevent a surprise attack.

With a vibrant population and culture, Katzenriech has many different cities, some architecturally beautiful and others naturally so. At the heart of the roads, cities and kingdom is the impenetrable city of Untertossburg, know for it’s massive citadel and beautiful royal quarters. The city of Turmfestung on the Meerhalf road is a marker of the original border of the kingdom before it expanded 90 years ago. It still has the feeling of the border city it once was, and is a military strongpoint that also has it’s own colorful culture. Middle Rand is the largest and most successful of the three Rands. The three towns were founded with the expansion of the kingdom. With Middle Rand at the end of Seintruassa road, it attracted the most inhabitants, leaving Upper Rand and Lower Rand as mere settlements. Zauberhaus is not yet a major city, but deserves special mention. It is the magic capital of Katzenreich, with hundreds of aspiring wizards and old masters in the population. It was started by magicians and given a German name meaning Magic House.

Thanks ! I hope I can count on Trechisperia and it's fine warriors as an ally in these times of brewing war!

Welcome, Lord Alexander. King Horatio of Balthor invites you to visit his humble dwelling and hopes that these two kingdoms can work toward a positive future.

Looks like a very interesting place, Ace! From what I'm reading it looks like a vibrant place to live.
