Title: And some more bits to puzzle you...
Post by: GrahamB on November 22, 2012, 17:25:29
They have certainly puzzled me! Numbers 1 to 8 are Playmobil (judging by mold numbers)- number 3 ('FREQUENT STOPS') should be easy. I have given one view in first picture and back views of same parts in the second picture. Next post shows parts 9 to 18 which may or may not be PM. Any help gratefully received!

Wow this is a nice challenge (and some that I don't know! :D)

Number 2 I recognise as I have some and have used in customs, but never known what they're from

Some pices look a bit iffy, as you say

Here's what I can add to those already identified:

1  30 21 6070 - Streetsweeper brush (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-21-6070)

4 30 23 9390 - Bumper, rear, for truck (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-23-9390)

8 30 21 9100 - Cannon hatch cover (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-21-9100)

12 30 22 0500 - Base plate for candle sticks (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-22-0500)

I'm certain numbers 16 and 18 are Playmobil

I don't think numbers 5, 10, 13 and 17 are

Number 9 possibly, possibly not

Damo :)

Hello Graham

I can shed some light on a few more parts for you:

Parts 2 are off Recycling Truck 3121. Their main purpose is to hold the bin lift in place (one on each side).

Thanks all- Tiermann (I would never have got that they were cycle stands- no part number in PlaymoDB, no pictures!), Playmofire, Rasputin, flatcat and Tim_W. Part 5 is definitely PM (PM mold numbers are distinctive, no?), but the others which no-one could identify (9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 18) probably aren't PM.

I have some more mystery bits somewhere, so I may ask for your help again. Thanks very much!

Graham

no 17 is definitely Lego.
no 16 is truly PM, dont know form which set or what it is exactly. Just looks very familiar. i do recognize it from my old plamyo.

no 15 looks like a motorcycle kickstand. not the regular one, but from this carry-on case  (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5891) It has a different type of kickstand and is not listed on playmodb. I'll get it to Heather tomorrow with a picture.

You're right, it is Playmobil and, looking more closely is familiar to me, too.  It looks like a tipping mechanism for a small vehicle

I think it's this part:
30-09-4430 kickstand (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-09-4430)

also used in the 5114 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=5114), 3062 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3062) and 3343 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3343) motorcycles. (oh, i see it's also used on 5116 and 5117)
