I like the way the new ones have a slight curve! :D

Makes them look more natural. :yup:

That is interesting news.
I wonder why they changed them after they'd already put out so many sets.

The slight curve makes it easier to elbow your opponent off the ball. :)

It also will make it easier to fold the arms down around items like belts.

Are these really new? The (modern) women always had arms with a slight curve.  I thought this was another distinction characteristics between the male and female klickies. (Also cf. the female footballers.)

Nevertheless it's astonishing that they used them on the male klickies (maybe they run out of stock of "male arms"  ;D)

These are slightlier chunkier than the bent arm style that is sometimes used for the female figures. This way they still look suitable for a klicky with 'athletic' features, such as a soccer player. ;)

It's also the first time that they've given this treatment to an arm with a short sleeve. I always thought the completely straight sleeveless arms looked a bit odd, especially when placed on a female figure. It would be nice if they gave those a gentle curve too. :)

It is interesting the variations they are getting on these.

One of my local shops now has the full line available in the US in stock. Haven't bought any but may get a few of the individual players.

I've got 4  different players and one of them is a Dutch player, but his arms are straight, as are the other arms from the other players.
Strange!!

I'm not that bothered about what the arms do to be quite honest (apart from on the keeper obviously).  The soccer set is my ultimate favourite playmobil set.  I am currently saving every penny that I can get my hands on so that I can purchase lots of players to make a big squad.  I'll give them all names when I have enough, and then i'll post up my squad list under a new topic (don't know what I'll call it yet!)
