I like it :) at first, I was afraid that a girl with a bikini, considering that there are often small differences of color between torsos and heads, would be ugly but, after getting this one from my husband for my diploma, (http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Product-Show?pid=4861&cgid=Freizeit-Ferienhaus) I changed my mind... it's really well done!

I have always wanted a naked klicky for some dioramas and have never liked the look of the upper torso on the classic Klicky. This one looks a lot better as a naked klicky but certainly looks like some other toy manufacture . I would vote yes for the ability to make into a naked figure but no for how it looks like a different brand.

And though we should embrace Change in all aspects of life , I am very old fashioned when it comes to playmobil , clip system, system x , aliens and these spy sets etc are not to my lilking at all . Old fashioned and old playmo brains ? yeap i am afraid. So this klicky being a radical design has the thumbs down from me >:D

I liked her for the scenes we showed at the Charleston diorama. Shirona33 posted the link a few posts above.
What I really dislike is the introduction of new torsos and legs which cannot be combined with any so far produced body parts of any other Klicky. This means a heavy blow to so much nice ideas of customizing.

Too true. The “new style” bodies (post police style) make so much customizing difficult, at best. I tend to avoid customizing females at all (other than legs) because I don’t have enough females to begin with.

I like it! I think it was time to open the game a little bit and on the other hand it makes women a little more versatile for costuming! Love the guy in the Speedo with 3 curls in his chest! lol. It's great! You've seen it?

when I was little I always wanted Playmobil to release a beach theme - the one the lauched is not my type though.
I don't know if I like this figure...she's too skiny (too Paris Hilton / Polly Pocket style, yuck). On the other hand I like the idea of having female klickies in bikini....so my position so far is: undecided ???
I may make a desicion once I have her :lol:

I like it too. I wouldn't want all playmobil to look like this new design. But it works well for the purpose of having realistic swimsuits, instead of everyone in shorts at the beach.

To be honest, I just love the entire vacation theme. I don't own the boat, buggy nor the camper (yet). And I am not too sure about the buggy.
Anyway. I allways had the idea that to make a convincing swimming pool, Geobra had to alter the design. The klickies in the first swimmingpool (3205) weren't really in swimming dress and I don't really believe there's a good way to do so with a traditional klicky.
And there it stands.
As a special adaptations for a specific theme: I love them.
As a image of Playmobil-future: no thank you.
So, in answer of the original question: I love the bikini girl!
But there is a "but" ...
Just my own 0.02 ...

She is rather immodest - as obviously what the customizers were made to think of with it in the previous post on Charleston - my daughters will not be playing with it. It is hardly a good example for young women to look up to.

I like it for such themes only that require this mode of dress (i.e. swimming, or hospital patient, etc.... However, I do wish the arms and legs looked a little less "organic" flexible and closer to the blocky look of a normal klicky. The bikini girl's limbs remind me of polypocket too much.

Hmmm, which is worse on influencing a young girl? Britney Spears/ Paris Hilton etc? or THE PLAYMOBIL BIKINI GIRL? lol, tough choice!
In all seriousness, it isn't images in media, or even in toys that will determine a young girl's moral/social practice, but UPbringing that will determine what version of propriety a young girl will subscribe to as she forms her personal moral code. The klicky in and of itself, IMO, is harmless. It's the approach one would take with it that counts, and of course one's own personal level of propriety and discretion (and degree of conservatism) that will affect whether a person would consider this liberal design acceptable or not, socially speaking.
Aesthetically, as I said before, the bendy-looking limbs detract from the traditional blocky klicky look, IMO. I think there would still be a way to make a bikini klicky that doesn't look so much like Poly Pocket.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED barbies as a child, and I still have them in a closet somewhere. And I'm sure my kids will play with barbies AND bratz. ::) I can't help but notice that both promote way too much emphasis on all the wrong things. However, I do agree with blackpearl that with proper upbringing, young girls can grow up well-adjusted even if they do play with dolls that look like... well, you know. ;)

on the subject of bikini klickies, is there a male version as well?
I have a pirate or two that are shirtless, but it's still just a standard klicky just molded in fleshtone color to appear shirtless (even has chest hair, lol), with shredded pirate capris pants and bare feet.
So is there a new male version to match the new girls? (there is also a brown-skin-toned bikini girl, fyi )

I'm kinda resistant to the new themes in general. I'd be more ok with newer designs/themes if they at least kept the classics in production, cuz really, they don't make 'em like they used to. The classic playmobil had so much appeal. The newer stuff, to me, requires a more acquired taste that isnt so readily palletable. Maybe I'm just an old fuddy-dud set in his ways though.

that's what I thought too when I bought 1 male klicky in swimwear for his torso which I agree isn't suitable for customising.
...perhaps this new naked torso design is only limited for swimmers...unless they start to make tanned and dark skin-toned torsos in future ;D
....so there's still hope that geobra might someday produce the classic torso in light-skin tone (then I'll will have many customes to make, from cowboys to chinese rail road workers :P)

in case you've not seen these, I tried using the male swimmer torso but couldnt figure out a way to permanently attach the torso to our classical legs....and am still hoping that someone might find a way or I will have to pray hard for the day that PM makes a naked classical light-skin-toned male torso ;D

The feet are smaller, but so are the sandals - try them on another figure to see. The problem appears to be they're slightly too slippery, or just moulded too big.

I like the figure a lot. (pun intended ;)) I do not have the slipper problem but never noticed her smaller feet. Are the male ones the same?
I do not see how Playmobil could have made a swimsuit Klicky with the old style body and have it look as good as this one does.
