Thanks for these pictures, Richard.
I assume they are mostly from the official website, from a store/retailer-catalogue or a source at Geobra?
This set isn't to be released in Germany untill the end of August!  ???

Than you for these pics Ricard. I think this is an interesting set, I'd like to deal with it...

Thanks for sharing these pictures. I really love the style of this castle. I would like to see it combined with the original fairy tale castle. I also look forward to others' customs with this one, perhaps with some more subdued colors  :D

A lovely design! So glad it is System X because we can use the random parts collected from other sets to expand it. Cool!
Cheers, Pgal

I think the round towers will probably of the same click system as the dragon world series. A cobination of X and then new cheap toy system

It makes me think of Fisher Price  ::)

Interesting stair design. better not be drinking and decide to go to the tower

I sure hope these parts will be useful for the older castles

It's very nice in person, there are many details that are really useful as well. We had a chance to see one in the Deko department when visiting Playmobil. Magayver checked and the window inserts fit in the old walls as well as the new ones.

did anyone ever expect this castle to be Steck/non Sytem X? ???

Are you talking about the clear pink inserts. What is the design?

This part of playmobil toys is just not my thing. For me the hole line of fairy castles , unicornes etc. is all looking like parts made for barbie dolls.

The arch top windows yellow with the purple frame.

Except for the very 1st fairy castle, I agree.

Some usefull bits in the new sets it seems (furniture, accessories like cuffs, collars, hats, etc) but sadly the trend of the building itself is indeed  more and more towards barbie or so...  ::)

OOh, I like the dark purple on that guy in the first pic! The colors may not be true, but it looks sort of eggplant (aubergine) colored.

I like a lot of the accessories and klickies of the fairytale/palace theme.. Love the Unicorns (I'm trying to hunt them), but the buildings look really cheap and barbie like. I was never into barbies (though I have a bunch of gorgeous 12" guys), probably because besides not having real articulation, they had no feet. I can't get over that.  :hmm:

I bought that carry along (what a stupid idea, IMO) thing with the unicorn, but it looks like a McDonald's give away  :-\

Ditto, I love that guy! The one sitting is very nice too.

Loved and "lolled" at the lock in the china cabinet, that's great!  (assuming it is a lock  ::) )

I think this set will be very popular with little girls. I do like how whimsical it is, and I do love the klickies. If I was trying to recreate a fairy tale scene, this would be perfect.

that woman in turquoise looks like a humanized mermaid to me - i wish they had made a hoop skirt for her
they now have a dance floor! :D how cool, but that does look a bit polly-pocketish to me

anyway, i love everything about these new fairy castle sets, i'm definately going to get them all when they become available in the US

dancing with a sword  :hmm: Must be paranoid

I am not too sure about the whole dance mechanism in the middle of the ball room floor. I wonder if the clear part is removable so the floor is level

I do need those flower pots for my 5300, they look the same

Thanks for the pictures Richard, especially the closeups.  Is this a new hair style on the dancing woman?   I've never seen it before, although I am not familiar with this theme.  Anyway, I like it.  ;D

In this case polly pocketish might be a good thing. ;) They do have some nice up-dos, and I want to see more of those from playmobil. I need them for modern bridesmaids and such.

Yeah, probably. Which will ruin that one. That's why I'd like to see more up-dos. ;) I'd like one with no hat hair.

my daughter saw the castle last month, she told me "I want it for Christmas", so I have no choice, I will buy it....with this castle it could be possible to make a custom of the Cinderella's castle....
