Hello ,

i try to organise picture to see all parts in a minimum of pictures (this could help for customs !!)  Your help is welcome : i know it miss a lot of things but it's not easy and i sometimes forgot common parts ...

i hope this coulp help especially people who don't know alls parts like the people who contribute in here do .

hi friend ! (it's a long time since i've been here but really no time month ago ....)

i think it could be usefull to see all colors in only one pictures to help tp customise , it could give ideas to see that because it's sometimes dificult to know all parts to make a custom.

i 'm really not a specialist with all the reference (a simple list for the ds is too long to make for me !) it's really not the same work than Heather who show only the parts who get a number , of course i could take a picture for her if she need a picture of a part she don't have but she have to find the number to go with ! 

i know it miss parts in here (some in playmo db are not here !! ) (i forgot things / i don't have all in that puzzle ) anybody can help me to see what is missing ? you get numbers of the pictures if you want to .

it's an idee to do that and your point of vue on the best way to do that is welcome !!

i will try to change pictures when i will going on , generally i wait to add fews things . I think it will be better to have more pictures (by theme) and a better visibility for some .

yes , it's a lot of work who takes times , i hope it will be usefull ....

This is an exciting project! I'm thinking, now, how to use these pictures to complement PlaymoDB, and vice versa.

For body-parts and accessories, it would be impossible to find all the part numbers for them (but I do have some!) so I don't think I'll even try to match them up with part-numbers. They could be matched with "Who's That Klicky?" results, though.

Part numbers for the majority of the wearables, weapons, tools and flags could be found, I think. As Tim said, he's taking care of shields and horse-gear, and very well too - no need to re-do his work! Your photos tend to be grouped in the same way that I've assigned categories to parts, so that's helpful. Identification of printed parts, in particular, could benefit from some clear photography.

There seems to be lots of new styles and colours of hair that I haven't described properly in the DB. Even the classic spiky male hair has been re-molded, and I'm really not sure what klickies have it. Good clear front/back/side photos would be excellent.

It's especially useful to see parts that are the same shape but SLIGHTLY different colours, next to each other. All the green/dark green/light green/mint green/dusty green/aqua torsos, for example - brown/orange/dark orange/red-brown hair is even worse.

How else can these photos help PlaymoDB, and PlaymoDB help to complete and organize the photos so they're more useful? Let's brainstorm.

yes , as you understand , i want it to be synthetic , with a good visibility (too many things on somes pictures) , chosing categories is rather subjective sometimes but see the parts by themes is what i want to do to (best visibility to make custom !!) .

Tiermann : thanks ! i want to do someting like that but i'm really bad with photoshop .... I just discover your work right now , a complete database like that will be very cool !!!
i think i will find all horses at house exept the green snake i don' have . 

sbblabotw (really dificult to write your pseudo !! ) : If you see any parts in here you want a picture , tell me , i know you have your own methods , it will be of course a pleasure to help you if i can 

If we want to put all numbers on a pictures with all parts , a novelty will come soon (and i also need to get all parts at house) , it's probably better to have small picture to organise . (each time i take a news pictures i had to do again the others)

I think my pictures can be good for somes parts like belts but it will be better (the heads and hairs for exemple) with someone who know photoshop to do like Tiermann do .

It can be done without photoshop if you use a plain background and keep like things together in groups. There are couple of other existing resources out there. hi Tiermann , again agood job with nice way to present it , i know the work of customiser (but i don't remenber where it was ...) and the job of the green man i discover here is good too . I have things to add .. 

For me it will be great to see all part in one place , the best will be to get only one huge picture with all part (good quality to loop in but it will be dificult !!) , it's really a post i want to dedicate to the people who customise , it's difficult to take a picture of all collectors to have an synthetic idee of all parts , i think i will try to take a bit picture by theme as well like this one , the idea is still to see the maximum things in minimum pictures .
