Title: Part number needed for black belt (dagger holster in on left hip)
Post by: Martin Milner on August 29, 2007, 16:21:57
As appeared on the Headsman special 4524, and I've seen it on one other figure, but can't find it in the database.

cheers,  Martin

Hi Martin!

Unfortunately, there are no part numbers for these kind of pieces...  :(

I think, they do not officially support the disassembly of the klickies, so these pieces are only available on collectors gatherings as single pieces...  :P

Rats dumplings, I kind of expected that.  ::)

Ah well, I had fun this evening behind Playmobil's back by disassembling 30-40 klickies from eBay auctions to clean up and re-assemble the way I want them.

So when's the next gathering in London?  ;D

in november is a gathering in osterholz close to bremen.
I could give you a ride from lübeck to this gathering,
ryanair is operating between stansted and hamburg (lübeck)...
we will all camp at the exhibition place and there will be
literally TONS of malta klickies...  :yup:

That's very kind of you Socrates and I'm tempted - what are the exact dates?

I probably wouldn't be able to go this year, because funds are tight, plus I have a weekend away in November on 10-11th November for a Melodeon workshop.

Next year would be more likely, if my wife can come as well, as we've never been to Germany (isn't that terrible!) and we've been thinking of a trip for some time.

It is unfortunate that belts can't be ordered separately because it can become quite an expensive exercise, buying whole figures when all you need is their belts. :(

I once sold some Playmobil accessories which included several belt parts on eBay.
The buyer wrote to me after receiving the lot, asking me if there was a special way to put the belts on the figures! :o
It was wrong of me to assume that everyone knows the figures need to be taken apart first, but this was because I had been doing it so long that the process had become almost automatic. :-[
Luckily, the buyer was able to work it out by themselves after being pointed to some web pages with disassembly instructions. *phew*

This is probably one of the reasons that Playmobil don't sell these types of parts separately. ;)
