Hello dear Playmo Friends ;D
Me & my father are Playmobil fanatics , We are always present on the meeting / Show / Vendor in our region ( Belgium , Holland & Nord-France ) .
We are strongly intrested in the Old medieval ( Steck houses , Steck castle's etc. ) & Also in the (old) Motorcross theme from Playmobil .
Momently we are building a Medieval diorama & we are also working on a Motorcross diorama but that's more of a future plan of our .
We will post our customs in the Custom topic ; We have done Roofs , Vans , Trucks , Boats & Medieval People .
Here is our YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/PlaymoFrankJon , there a some video's of Diorama's from us .
If you want to know something more about us , drop it in the comment boxes en we will answer :) .
We are happy that there is a forum that we can share our intrests to the ( Playmo ) world . :**:
Greetings from Belgium ; Jonathan & Frank :knight:

Yep, but I've never been to Assenede. But I know Zelzate ("zelzoute" we say here ;D), a friend of mine used to live their. When I was 21, I had a girlfriend from Rieme, which is also close to Zelzate. And a few years ago, I used to meet up regularly with people from Wachtebeke.
-
Ow thats nice that you know it :D , Rieme & Wachtebeke are also pritty close to Assenede :p , but i have a question , You have a playmobil diorama or set up by your home ? ;D & Witch it is ? Pirates , Medieval , City life , Fire fighters etc. ? :P

Well, not a big diorama of so, it's all a bit scattered around the house and 3/4 of my collection is stored since I have a lack of space since moving house ca. 2 years ago (due to a complicated family-affair and some ridiculous laws by our government).
I mostly collect Playmo and make customs that fit into the timeline between 1492 (discovery of the Americas) and 1805 (French-English seabattle at Trafalgar), with an emphasis on the 18th century and naval warfare.
So the range goes from 16th-century Spanish Conquistadores and Aztecs, over 17th-century privateers like Sir Francis Drake (England) and Piet Heyn (Holland), musketeers, 18th century pirates, sailors, armies & navies (England/France), civilians, nobelmen, etc etc..., up to Napoleon Bonaparte. And of course lots of ships for these purposes, those are a big mainstay of my collection.
As the medieval castles and houses also fit well into Renaissance-era dioramas or settings, I have most of those too. Also lots of Victorian stuff, especially furniture for use in 18th century house-scenes.
The big (longterm) plan is a huge 18th-century carribean Island with a jungle, colonists and their farms, a fortified city with a harbour and defensive bastions, a Governor's mansion, an English fleet, a French fleet, a pirates fleet, etc etc... But to set that all up, first one of my dad's houses has to become available to me to move to... ::)

Hello from Belgium too  Hey, do you know any Playmobil fan meetings in Belgium ? Greetings, Christophe
There is an exhibition at Seneffe this coming weekend (14/15 April)!!
I would love to go, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get there on my own means...
If someone from around Gent would go by car, or pass through the area, I'd be happy to take any spare seat one might have. ;)
-
Okay :) & I can ask maybe to my father if we can pick you up , but not sure if it will fit
