Definitely stocking up on a few of these sets when I get a chance. I like the new hoods, and I spot two new types of shoulder mouldings in use. Also of course the new fantasy weapons, ultra-big sword and dragonhead axe, and the teeny daggers, and two new fantasy shield shapes. That looks like a new regular-size sword design in the 7975 pack too.

Lots of opportunity for customising, I'd put the hoods with the cloaks for a start.

The lizardskin leader is my favourite despite the faceprinting - I don't like those odd eyes.

Hello, Martin ...

To the best of my memory, those "eyes" first appeared about 1995 on the "Dragon Queen" in set 3841.

Heather's PlaymoDB has a good picture of the Dragon Queen. (see attachment below)

NOTE: I don't know why I called this set the "Temple of Isis" as it looks nothing like the Roman Temple that was built in Egypt at Philae. (The original site is now under water because of the Aswan dam. The Temple was rescued and moved to Agilka !sland.)

Perhaps, a better name would have been the "Dragon Temple" which is much more relevant now with the release of Playmobil's Drachenland!

Click on images for larger pictures.

Edit: Added "Note" ...

I really like those hoods! I am not too crazy about the dragon motif, I would prefer a more realistic geometric but then again they are pretty colorful!

In 7973 the 3rd figure to the right , is that a new face print? it looks similar to a foo man chu but with round eyes and angry eyebrows
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I don't care for the large dragon wings.  That's just too much for my tastes.

They can be removed and replaced with quivers or scabbards, or you could just cut off the bobbles they attach to.
