Hi Playmofriends!
My name is Dinobuzz and I'm fairly new to the Playmobil world but not new to toy collecting! I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks and finally decided to join this wonderful group of friends!
I'm from Canada and my Playmobil collection....hummm....I mean, my daughter's collection
, is quite on the micro level compared to what some of you guys have! What got me started, was adding to my Dragon collection and searched to see what Lego & Playmobil had in the Dragon line. Then I scored some bags full of Playmobil at thrift stores, including the Take Along House with all of the accessories for $5.99! My daughter LOVED it so much and now wants the Grande Mansion (I already got her the small Victorian mansion/house put away for Christmas).
As I'm hunting for a good deal for this Mansion, I came across your site and have been hooked ever since! Now, when it comes to collecting, my first love is Dragons (only cute ones though!)...recently, I've added 4 Playmobil dragons (I have one at home, and the others are on their way, including the blue one!) and 2 Nessies....
Then comes, vintage My Little Ponies (1980's)..... in which I adore and have been collecting/restoring since 2007.
My Disney Cars collection has been on hold for now....running outta room!
Playmobil has now taken over, as I'm focusing on getting the kids' their sets for Christmas morning! My daughter loves the Victorian series and along with me, my son likes the castle/knights/dragons.
Well, I think I've babbled long enough and I should a check out what's been going on here today!
